Well, hello! First things first, my name is Christina and this is my humble blog home. Cozy, no? I’m from the United States, a small town in Kentucky, to be exact. And no, I’ve never ridden a horse (I’ve been asked this before, but I haven’t and I probably wouldn’t ever because I’m a scaredy cat D: ).
I don’t know exactly what got me into blogging. I believe I started because I had little else to do with my time. I discovered book blogging last year and now that I have my own blog it’s become my number one hobby (just like shopping online from Book Outlet, aka the book buying enablers, has more recently). I came up with a name for this blog simply on what was available when I bought the domain, which is lame on my part because most of my ideas already existed. :’c I used to have a blog called Of Books and Other Things, but I changed the name once I made the move to self-host.
My favorite books to read and review are now mainly historical fiction and almost all types of YA, except for contemporary (it seems hard to get into. I just need something more out of the ordinary, if that makes any sense at all). I post, besides reviews, cover reveals, books blasts, book hauls, and other random things whenever I get inspired. I try to stay active, despite homework begging/sobbing for my attention.
My best blogging experiences includes my favorite thing about the blogging community, the nice people. While I’m very socially awkward in person and online, I like how welcoming other bloggers are. I wish I interacted with them more.
If I had a book BFF, it would have to be Beast from the His Fair Assassin series by Robin LaFevers. Maybe even book boyfriend, because why not? Apart from reading and blogging, my hobbies include watching anime, rping (yeah), writing (I’m studying creative writing), and book buying (or looking at books I want to buy). Apart from buying books, I usually buy clothes when they’re on sale and really cheap, which isn’t very often. It’s obvious what I value more.
There are so many books that I want to become movies, but I think right now the movies I would want to see made the most would be the His Fair Assassin series. Although, I admit, I have little faith in the way they portray and often ruin good stories from books.
Anyway, this concludes my post. Thanks for stopping by and all. 😀
