I really like historical fiction too. I’m actually reading a book about the Oregon Trail and it’s quite fascinating. It’s called “Under A Painted Sky” by Stacey Lee. Everyone in the blogger community is so nice, it’s my favorite part of blogging too 🙂 Lovely getting to know you!

I love your blog design! (mine is the same one haha )

I haven’t read His Fair Assassin! I know a lot of people loved it though 😀

Nice to meet you Christina!! I enjoy reading historical fiction too… I also enjoyed reading the Fair Assassin Trilogy too and also selected it as the series I want made into a movie or television series.

I have the same problem with contemporary fiction! I mostly read fantasy, but I used to read a lot more historical fiction than I do now and it makes me a bit sad. I feel like maybe I come across it less in YA fiction – I’d say 95% of the historical fiction I’ve read is adult fiction, and I’ve started reading a lot more YA fiction in the past couple years.

I’ve started His Fair Assassin – I can’t WAIT to get my hands on the second book (what kind of library has the first and third books?!?).

Not sure if the first comment went in! I adore that you chose Beast as your book BFF. He’s a great character, and I’m happy you love him as much as I do. Also, the His Fair Assassin series would make an incredible TV series – if the right person were producing it. And anime! What are your favorite shows?

    Thanks for joining the Love-a-Thon!

YAAAS TO BUYING CLOTHES!!! Its so hard to budget it and stuff, but it’s great when you get the chance to really provide money for books and clothes, even if they are from thrift stores!!! 🙂 Nice knowing you, Christina!

I’d totally see the His Fair Assassin’s movies if they were ever being made!
