Do you ever stop to wonder how you got where you are? The Q&A a Day Journal shows you what was going through your head each day—for five years of your life. Simply turn to today's date, answer the question at the top of the page, and when you finish the journal, start over. As you return to the daily questions again over the years, you'll notice how your answers change (or don't)! With questions that are sometimes provocative (“On a scale of one to ten, how happy are you?”), occasionally quirky (“What can you smell right now?”), and inevitably interesting (“If you could travel anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?”), this classically designed journal—embellished with beautiful details—is the perfect gift for anyone embarking on a new phase of life.

This book is so cute with the old fashioned look. It’s small, about the size of my hand. The pages are outlined in gold and reminds me of the books advertised in those catalogs selling antiques, replica furniture and random trinkets. The idea of a five year journal interested me. I usually start and give up on writing in regular journals because I have nothing interesting to write down or know where to begin with the daily details of life. With this little lovely book, everyday it asks a new question and you fill in the lines in response.

The question for February 10th is, “If this day was an animal, which animal would it be?”  I would have to answer with a lazy fat cat on the first line. The other four are for the next years. So it would probably be amusing a year or two from now when I come back to February 10th and see my answer.
